Javonte Raines punched his ticket to the Division 1 State Finals with a comeback victory in the 400m, capturing the Region 7 championship with a blazing time of 50.99. Javonte continues to close in on Tom LaForrest’s legendary 1982 school record of 50.1 and will have two more chances to make history, Wednesday at the WWAC League Championships at Crestwood and again at the Division 1 State Finals.
