Cardinals Recognize Four Athletes of the Week Melvindale Athletics is proud to recognize four Cardinals for their outstanding efforts in competition, leadership, and commitment. Brock Lambart, Varsity Football, continues to emerge as a leader on and off the field, contributing in all areas of the game while excelling in the classroom. Benji Bermudez, Varsity Soccer, has been a standout performer who consistently competes, works hard, and puts the team first. Baya Hamilton, Varsity Volleyball, is making an impact as a freshman on varsity. A longtime volleyball player, Baya leads by example and continues to show the value of hard work and dedication. Paola Peralta Pena, JV Volleyball, has been a key contributor with her strong serving and ability to consistently score important points, helping create momentum for her team.
